“23 Days of Flatiron Cheer” is the Flatiron Partnership’s annual holiday program. Shop with your heart and support local retailers in the Flatiron and NoMad neighborhoods.

This year ‘Flatiron Cheer’ enlivens the Flatiron Plaza with a holiday art installation and festive programming, and highlights neighborhood shops, restaurants, gyms, and hotels.

Support district businesses as you plan your holiday celebrations with local deals and holiday meal kits. Score something for yourself by winning a  giveaway hosted via our Instagram and weekly newsletter.

Events & Performances

Holiday Themed Historic Walking Tours – Sundays at 11 am
Meet at the tip of the Flatiron Building for a 90-minute historic journey. No registration required.

Holiday Carolers Live in the Flatiron Public Plaza
Get in the spirit and enjoy carolers performing holiday songs a capella!

• Wednesday, 12/23, 4:30 – 6 pm: American Caroling Company ***Rescheduled from Saturday, 12/18 due to rain.

Winter Solstice Celebration with MoMath and Mangia
Tuesday, 12/21, 3 – 5 pm – Flatiron Public Plaza
The National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) invites you to experience the joyful reflection of a life-sized kaleidoscope. Snap a unique selfie and enjoy cookies and and hot chocolate from artisanal cafe Mangia while supplies last. Plus, have a caricature drawing done by Draw My Party from 2 – 5 pm! Caricatures offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited spots available.

Attendees are encouraged to take proper COVID precautions at this outdoor event. We recommend wearing a mask and maintaining 6-feet distance when possible.

An annual tradition to accompany the “23 Days of Flatiron Cheer” is the Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership holiday art installation, selected through the annual Flatiron Plaza Holiday Design Competition in partnership with the Van Alen Institute. This year, the winning design is Interwoven by design Atelier Cho Thompson.

“One of our key tenets as a firm is that we can build community around design,” said Ming Thompson and Christina Cho Yoo, Co-Founders of Atelier Cho Thompson. “Interwoven highlights our fundamental desires to connect with each other through shared experiences and to celebrate our differences. Interwoven offers a platform for stories and dreams of our future.”
